Rumours of 2 different companies working on these for the Canadian market according to an SBI Reddit post. And all gone.
Has HCMags said why they aren't making any more? Seems there's still plenty of demand.
i would love to see Canadian made "tuf22" style mags but hopefully they don't try to outright clone the H3CR mags. Hopefully better QC as things as essential as feed angle seem to be a common issue with the mags currently sold.Rumours of 2 different companies working on these for the Canadian market according to an SBI Reddit post.
This was mentioned by SBI that the only mag geometry that they could get to work was the 597. I've tried their adapter with a few of those rem mags and they were all janky, I'm trying my luck with the HCs this time around. If it's possible to make an adapter that takes the tm22 mags, that seems like the ideal move currently, though I have no idea if the mag geometry or feed angle are compatible.
The only issues I've had is from my not loading them right. As other have said if you load them like a normal BC mag they run just fine. I watched all the YouTube videos and played around at home to where I thought I was proficient enough to use the chargers. But at the range I still fumbled rounds onto the ground. This was mentioned by SBI that the only mag geometry that they could get to work was the 597. Sensing this is a "Standby" moment.....
This has not been my experience. I have 4 mags. Of them, 1 has a bad feed angle so it's completely out. The other 3 there is no rhyme or reason for how they will run if you load them normally without using the stripper clips (ie: loaded 1 round at a time). Almost 100% of the time they will #### up the first round or two. Down-loading from max capacity by a few rounds seems to raise the chance of them working first time around but it's not guaranteed. Once it feeds a few rounds then it seems to work until the end of the mag, usually. This is observed across several different guns of mine and others. YMMV obviously. The only issues I've had is from my not loading them right. As other have said if you load them like a normal BC mag they run just fine
