HC3R 10/22 Mag with stripper clips

If your still looking for these mags Hnatiuk`s in Nova Scotia has these mags in stock now and is advertising them for $49.95 and they have stripper clips as well .

P&D had some for $45. I picked one up and will try it out next Monday. It is a lot nicer to load than the BC 25 rounders.

Yes we just received these mags. The HC3R 25 round mag with extra stripper clip is $45. We also have extra stripper clips...3 pack for $17. Also speed loader for stripper clips...$30. I haven't used these personally yet however I will try to get one out as soon as possible. The first shipment of these mags to Canada was very limited so I don't expect them to last long however more are on order. Phil.

I found some for sale in Ontario on a site called mystuff630.ca. He seems to have a good reputation on Ebay so took a chance and ordered one (39.95$). If they aren't on your website, I can't find them...

I can't wait to try these; just ordered a couple. 'About time there was something out there like this that has a follower to make loading easier; I was seriously considering dremeling my butler creek & promags just to add this sort of thing. The stripper/rib clip is a very nice bonus. Now if only the whole thing were metal... ;)

It isn't? For some reason I thought it was machined out of aluminium... I should've guessed, judging by the price.

Yep, just took a look at the manufacturer's website: Polymer chassis, SS fasteners and feed lips. Still looks good though... I wonder how well the extra rounds will stay in the side of the magazine during firing or run-and-gun type stuff. I may pick up a couple of these myself eventually.

Just saw these mags this morning at my LGS, I think they got 50 of them and spare stripper clips. We played with one for a bit and they are easy to load, look well made too. They weren't priced yet but will probably be in $50 range. My LGS is Chiiwack Dart and Tackle.

Firstly, the mags look good. A bit rough finish and the rounds have more friction when being extracted from the lip compared to my TI mags ( I can usually pop rounds out with my thumbnail but not with these). The H3CR's are also much larger than my other mags. They are so large that they do not fit in my mag pouches with the flap closed (too long).

Secondly, I interestingly noticed that I was able to fit a few extra rounds (beyond 25), not sure if this will affect performance.

Thirdly, they fit nice and snug in the mag well of my 10/22, not as "tight" as my TI mags but close!

Lastly, I note that the spare stripper clips (3 packs) come with rubber caps to prevent the rounds from escaping the clip. I wonder why the spare clip that was provided with the mags did not come with a rubber cap (maybe it is only supposed to serve as a "spare")? I must hunt down rubber bands for those now...

Can't wait to test em out further.

I'm interested to hear how they compare to the TI mags (and Butler Creeks, if you've got them). I'm looking to get some magazines in the near future, but I'd rather buy them once and get the good ones right away.

As for the rough spots:Could you use some sandpaper or something and clean them up? I'm sure it'll fix itself over some few hundred rounds, but I wonder if it'll have an effect on feeding.

The rough edges are actually on the mag's exterior, it's not that bad really, just cosmetic. The interior is fine :)
My main concern is the friction on the feed lips, but this may turn out to be a non-issue.
