co-worker mentioned he was at the LGS the other day and they where pulling all the HC3R mags off the rack and boxing them up.
when asked what was going on he was told they where being sent back to the supplier as they have been re-branded as prohibited.

i couldn't believe what i was hearing so i went down to the LGS and asked the lad's at the counter what gives, was told that the HC3R are falling prey to the same issue that we have with the Ruger BX25 mags.
they are labeled as working for the Chargers so they got re-branded as prohibited now.

i never got into the HC3R mags as my steel lips work good but i can definitely see the allure to them.
but now they are going the way of the dodo.

Doesn't there have to be some kind of bulletin from the RCMP or something before someone can just say "they're now prohibited "

Funny Story,

I know a friend with this product. the follower doesn't push the rounds high enough, and they jam all the time. So my friend filled out the comment section on the HC3 website, within 10 minutes, got a call from the owner/operator who makes these mags when he's not driving for his limo service in California I think, (Deduced by doing a reverse lookup of the cell phone number he called us from.) The HC3 guy said as soon as he could get his Ver2.0 into Canada, they would send my friend one for free as a replacement for the faulty one that had been purchased.

if someone has solid proof that these are being deemed "Liberally illegal," can they post it?
