Was in the Red Deer store a couple of weeks ago and they had some Metal cans marked as holding 105 mm rds. Opened on the end.

Little research showed they were actually these. Giant sized water proof container suitable for all kinds of things. ;)

Yea but princess auto wants 50 bucks for those, when they are the least desirable and cheapest surplus cans you can find down in US.

they are not long enough to store a firearm in, don't know if even a desissembled rifle would fit.

I did buy two wooden crates and two medical plastic cans. They are on sale for 13 bucks this week.

that would nice if you want to take a couple sks's out and instead of leaving them on the tailgate while shooting,or leaning them up against something where they might slide and fall. Anybody seen these in Winnipeg stores yet ?

I picked up one of these from the Princess Auto in Saskatoon.
If anything they can be put up on one end and used as a locker of sorts, just install some dividers inside and they'd be nice for organizing my reloading supplies and the few bits of gun smithing tools that I have. Seeing as I seem to be in the habit of moving every couple of years these would be great for keeping everything together ready to move lol.
I might have to go back and pick up a couple more.

In the Panet road store today, they have about 8 - 10 of them at the back left, they also have new .50 and fat .50 cal. cans.
