Well, not the first time. I tried to zero the scope a bit at Target using frangible ammo (since it's indoors), but this will be the first time I have taken a rifle outdoors.
It's a BAR ShortTrac 308. Not a precision rifle, I know...
I figure I'll probably just go to the 100 yards the first time out, try to zero the rifle a bit better, and get used to it.
Any etiquette things that a complete newb like me should know (over and above the range rules)? Not new to handguns or trap, but never gone out to a rifle range before, and I don't have a good sense of how it works, with regards to setting up targets, taking them down, shooting positions, etc.
Thanks
