Heading to Yellowknife in September, possibly October...to visit my sister. She has been to GP a number of times to visit me and I should be visiting her more often. Just trying to get the dates nailed out.

Now who want's to take me hunting for most of the time I am there "visiting her"...:D

I'd like to have a day out after a few ptarmigan or a day out in boat if anyone has some free time or anything...I'll be bringing goodies if that helps coax anyone to take me out ;) :D

By October the boats will all be off the water awaiting ice! Don't know what hunting will be available, but we have a great gunrange to play at. Just give a call in the evenings at 920-4309.

hmmm come september and october you might find some grouse if you look hard enough, other then that its Moooose. But you need to take at least a weekend trip for that, unless you get lucky driving up and down the highway going out to Rae. The Herring also might be running at the rapids if you come at the right time. thats always a pretty neat. other then that, there is black bear, Aug 15 to Oct 31 but its a $40 tag fee and $200 trophy fee for non-resident, Woodland caribou is July 25th to oct 31 but again its $40 tag and $400 trophy fee for non-resident.

Don't forget that little fee your outfitter will charge you

stinkin' rules

If you drop a line around the 3rd week of Sept I'll be back from chasing sheep and I'll be moving into moose mode....might be able to entertain ya for a day or 4 if it works out. It may be easier to catch me on Alberta Outdoorsman though.....same handle.
