Heads Up--Large Gun Auction

Last time It was $10 a gun 15% buyers fee and $3 for a gun lock which you get charged for if you get the trigger lock or not

They started with a 15% buyer's fee? Never had that before. If that's the case the prices will be waaay too high. Does it say buyer's fee on the auction listing?

I just chesked the listing--it says NO BUYERS FEES.

You know, as I mentioned, I have nothing to do with this auction house. And another thing. I really regret posting this. I thought I might be doing some members a favour who might be interested in a certain gun but weren't aware of this auction. But from some of the #####ing by some members it clearly wasn't worth it. And these members probably have no intention of buying in the first place.

You did me a favor if that makes you feel better

some auctions charge a buyers AND sellers fee...

A 10% seller fee means if your gun sells for $100 you only get $90

so some auctions rake in %20 to %25 of what gets sold...its a wonder there are EVER any deals

Thanks, it does. It just rubs me the wrong way when people say "thanks a bunch, way to drive prices up" or "the op should have kept his mouth shut" or " maybe he's the owner and trying to drive the prices up". At least there are those who appreciate it.

I know weird how people claim we should stick together as a community but as soon as money is involved its free for all

Theirs
A rasheed a vz52/57 a yugo 59/66 2 krinker plinkers and 1 thompson 10/22 all on my wishlist

We will see how its goes and which one i'll bid on even though I know I should bid on all of those knowing im most likely not going to win it, but the advantage of absentee bids is you set a price then stick to it no buyers remorse

Best of luck to everyone

They did not mention a buyer's fee when I called. $7-$10 paperwork fee.

The lady also said that I could bring my own trigger locks and save the $3.

I don't expect to walk out there with much - but that is a lot of inventory to move. I plan on staying for the duration.

Hopefully arriving an hour early will be enough time to register.

I think you can preregister.

I submitted a proxy form with about 15 pieces on it, not sure if I got anything. Tried calling in to be on the phone, and could not get through. So, waiting patiently to hear from them with fingers crossed.......
