Heads up on K11 availability

Ive wanted one and was aware of the current stock. I read that they shoot high at 100 yds because they were sighted in at 300 yds. Guirsan (RIP) had previously mentioned that they require a taller front sight post as a result. So this info has caused me to hold back, since I'll just shoot my K31 instead. The K11 would just be a collector for me I think. But I shouldn't think too long about it I guess...

Every carbine Mosin I have ever had shot like that. Still never stopped me from some great shots on moose. ;)

I have a couple that are POA and POI consistent and some that aren't.
You're right though, that shouldn't hold me back.

Mine was a safe queen until Swiss Products came out with the No Drill and Tap side mount that is held on by the action screws for the 1889, 96/11,1911 and K11 Swiss rifles.
Only fly in the ointment is that most scopes mayhave to be rotated 90° for the turrets to not interfere with ejection.
Elevation turret becomes windage and vice versa
The K11 rifle has the rear sights right where the objective lens would be, so you need to use straight tube front objective.

If you want one, get one quickly - SP are NOT in continuous production of their products and if you leave it too long you'll 'miss the train'. It might be a good while before the next one comes along.

Just showed up. 1915 dated serial number 39###. All-matching with sling, muzzle cap and soldier tag under the buttplate (I can see it but cant fish it out without ruining the upper buttplate screw). Pics to come later as I am on my way out for evening shift. Awesome job SFRC!

Trade-ex never ordered the No Drill /Tap mount for the 1889, 96/11, 1911 & K11.
Only for the K31.

I'm sold out now, but will include a few in my next order around September.
