Heads up: Plano case for AR on sale at Crappy Tire

I wanted another hard case just to transport the AR to and from range

Came across the Huntshield case on sale at Crappy Tire for $89 ....turns out its actually USA made Plano 108421 !

They have the larger 52" one with wheels for $130

Its not as rigid as my Hardigg Storm and Pelican , but far better than the $90

Hell...its over $50 to buy replacement foam for my Storm / Pelicans

Only think it doesn't offer , that my Storm iM3100 has is wheels . But seeing a iM3100 is $250 I'm willing to overlook that

I'm also looking for a new case and for range trips only, this will fit the bill perfectly - will have to head out to CT tomorrow!

I like it. Latches have built in locks, the keys are plano marked, and the pamphlet inside is from plano.

I picked one up after reading the post (42" model)

No problem fitting a 12.5" NEA with red dot, CZ SP-01, Browning 1911-22 and GSG 1911-22 at the same time with extra room for mags.

I don't think you can get two ARs to fit into it with optics attached. Remove the optics and I I'm pretty sure they'd fit.

Measuring the length/width of the pluck foam 42.5" x 12.75"
Hard to measure the depth, the pluck foam itself is about 2.5", 5" total wouldn't surprise me.

These cases are great. I've got a bunch of them. They're nice and strong with solid latches and locks. They aren't as heavy duty as a Pelican, but at 1/3 the price you can't go wrong.
