Heads up RCMP collectors - NIB S&W Model 10 marked RCMP - GRC on Gunbroker

Ran across this auction tonight - I know nothing about this company but thought that an RCMP collector might be interested.

Since it has a 5" barrel it should be easy to import back to Canada (where it belongs!)

That's a Beauty, even with the low dollar if you can get for a 1000 plus import it's likely worth it.

Always love the "no reserve" but staring bid is WAY up top.

900$ is pricey for a model10 just because it has a fancy RCMP stamp.

To import it here , with all the expenses and dollar exchange, youre looking at $1700.00.

Lever sold a bunch of new 5inch RCMP revolvers in the late '80's for around $500. Times have changed.

I know our local dog man taught his dog to find guns by tossing a NIB Model 10 RCMP marked revolver into roadside ditches around Terrace. I got to shoot the gun before it entered the ditch. Beautiful gun but two weeks later it looked like it had been dumped into a cement mixer. Apparently the RCMP have them still in stores at the Regina Depot.
