Headshots aren't great ideas! - Video

i have never seen a animal last very long after being hit behind the front legs , in the lungs . the farthest i've seen them run is maybe 50 yards .

compared to the animal living days , maybe even weeks after having their jaw blown off my some ass trying to do a head / neck shot .

this may ruffle some feathers , but people who do a head / neck shot as the FIRST shot on a animal need to give their head a shake .

i can not see this as being a issue with any conservation officer , if a person where to put the animal out of it's misery , doccument why it was put out of it's misery , dress the animal so someone can use the meat , then phone the game warden and ask for instructions as to what to do with the carcas.

I eventually did talk to a warden about it, and basicly told me that givin the fact on what happened it was good that I didn't finish her off. She was on a game preserve and about 20 ft from a house. I tried to contact a warden as well as the home owners but didn't succeed. Unfortunatly I could get into a lot of trouble for "doing the right thing". After thinking long and hard about it, we decided to leave her(it still bugs me to this day) but whats done is done, and I hope that this video changes the mind of some headhunters, so that some good can come out of this terrible situation.
