hearing aids

I have used the amplified ear muffs. They make it easier to hear faint noises like wind in trees and footsteps, and when you shoot, your hearing is protected.

Had to get a set a few years ago after several years of accumulated hearing loss actenuated by too much time on the shilouette firing line. I hate them and avoid wearing them (much to my wife's chagrin:D ) but found I'm really handicapped hunting without them. I get too much noise when I'm working my way up a ridgeline, etc. so usually leave them out until I start my still hunting. A real advantage having them in after that.

I bought a pair of hearing aid style ones when I was in the U.S in the Spring. I found them very helpful to hear distant gobbling & closer hen yelps or purrs. They also block any loud noises over 80dB which protects your hearing from the gunblast. I found they don't work very well in the wind. Just amplifys a rushing noise. I will continue to use them.

Have them and they work good you can get them walkergame ears for about 400 dollars they are great at he gun range they cut out at 90 decibels and they amplify sound when you are out hunting I use them and I would not be without them Good luck

Do not buy the cheap ones. It seams they actually amplify wind noise more then anything.
