In all seriousness I think they look cool...the issues arrise when you need to clean under it...you can only take it on and off so many times.

Its a $320 shotgun, cleaning the top of the barrel not really an issue for me..

Tac Star make fine heat shields and cheap enough too. Can be had at most proper gun retailers as well as from Brownells.

Why add the weight? I haven't needed one, and why not add more useful weight like a sidesaddle. just a thought.
