This topic has probably been beaten to death already... Seems to be this product is out of stock everywhere I look. I am looking to buy a heat shield to accomadate a 20" barreI. Just purchased this nice little pump and wish to deck it out slightly.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can obtain this sought after piece of metal with holes?

Thank you.

Well, I answered my own question... Happened to find a heat shield at Brownells in the States.

The heat shield part # is 000-003-986MB

The additional mounting hardware needed are 2 of each part #: 000-002-706WB, 000-002-707WB, 000-002-708WB

IIRC , someone had mentioned that Western gun parts in Edmonton ether had or could get them .
Just make sure you get the right one, as the 590/500/88 won't fit the 590a1 , because of the heavy barrel .

This^^^. The gun parts from Brownells don't fit a 590A1, unless something's changed since July/2020_thicker barrel!! I bought a parkerised heat shield/kit from Western Gun Parts in AB after
talking with Mossberg in the USA_they told me to use W.G.P. in AB.
Mossberg provided me with the factory part #s for the install. 16335P for the heatshield, 12086 for the plastic spacer, 10494 x 2 for the bolts,
and 11588 x 2 for the nuts.
Brownells uses 7 part #s according to the OP ??? The Mossberg factory installation only uses 6 part #s. I believe the Brownell's parts are for a regular 590 installation.
According to Brownell's website, the listed heat shields DO NOT FIT model 590A1 as they have a thicker barrel. Customer feedback stated the same.
Buyer beware. That's why I went with factory Mossberg parts. IMHO, even the factory bolts are too short. It takes a little time/trick to install too without scratching the barrel.
People on YouTube have tried installing the Brownells parts but it is a butcher job and looks horrible!!
If you want to know the installation tip/trick I learned the hard way send me a PM.

I heard you have to use a cloth and a bench vice to "mould" the heat shield to the barrel... But I think I am going to cancel my Brownells order and order the Black Aces rail which is also a heat shield... Looks better and has more versatility.
