The only part i didn't like was when the lincoln crashes....the air bags should have went off
I don't think they were going fast enough?

Still the greatest movie shoot-out ever. I love the FNC and want one so bad.

I remember seeing a piece that appeared on one of the old gun shows that used to come on TNN before they changed format...it was about the company that actually builds a lot of more exotic guns used in action movies, etc... At that time, the guy featured in the story was putting together a "shorty" AR-15 for Val Kilmer to use in a then "upcoming" action movie...which we now know as HEAT!:) I had it taped, but came up empty trying to find it this afternoon. :(

Was it a 10.5" or 11.5" AR that Kilmer used? It was a little hard to tell with the distortion of the You Tube video.

I'm glad for the YouTube clip. The rest of the movie sucked ass.
+2!
I've watched the clip about 5 times and it's (the shootout) done about as well as it can be...
However, the rest of the film was dry, stilted, and boring....:puke:

What are you guys smoking??? HEAT sucked? With most of the crap Hollywood is putting out these days, its one of the few "intellectual" action movies out there that has at least some basis in plausible reality. C'mon!

I thought most of that movie was boring, but I enjoyed the gunfights, even if they were using some of my most disliked weapons. Too bad that one guy never opened up with his AKM-S

I think the AKM-S was in fact a Galil.....;)
