Sorry guys, I just could not resist !!

I used to launch Sierra VLD 80 gr. MK's from my McLennan bbl'ed M70. That bbl had an 8" twist and my comeups to 800 meters were inside 10 minutes of angle. NO joking ! Okay, maybe 12 or 13 MOA

Exit velocity was about 3100 fps since 3200 fps velocities were tearing the jackets off the 80 gr. VLD slugs.

I feel for all of you and your factory 12" twist barrels...

I'm guessing you can hunt deer with .22cal in Yukon...........I'm a firm beleiver in permanent wound channels and I just think .22cal hole will plug up and keep the animal from bleeding out if you happen to miss the vitals........

Nope, not legal here at all for big game. Just commenting on my experience with them in coyotes!

I am definitely on your team as far as wound channels go, and use my 375 to insure that.
