Heaviest whitetail deer you've shot and weighed?

Dont you have to register your kill.

Mig25 is correct, each region has different requirements for compulsory reporting and inspection of large game in B.C. but deer isn’t one I’ve noticed to report in any of the regions I’ve hunted. In my region elk used to be on the list for inspection but they removed it from the list a few years ago. Moose, cougar, lynx and bobcat are all required to be inspected in my region if I recall correctly.

No registration in Ontario, just an online survey to see how many deer you saw and if you tagged a deer.

What do you mean register?
QUEBEC....
Transport and registration of game
Within 48 hours of leaving a hunting site, a hunter who has killed a white-tailed deer, a moose, a black bear or a wild turkey must present in person his licence and register the animal with a person, a corporation or an association authorized by the MFFP. At that time, he must declare the calibre of the firearm used and the licence plate number of the vehicle used to transport the game, then allow the punching of the transportation coupon(s) and, in the case of a male moose, allow the marking of the antlers. In the case of a moose, the hunter must also present the hunting licence from which the transportation coupons were attached to the animal. Specific procedures may apply to white-tailed deer hunting in wildlife reserves and outfitting operations with exclusive rights (see the sections entitled "Sharing an antlerless deer hunting licence" and "Hunting white-tailed deer in a group") and moose hunting in wildlife reserves (see the section entitled "Sharing an adult female moose hunting licence").
A hunter who has killed big game or a wild turkey must, upon request of a wildlife protection officer, have the officer register it immediately.
Any wild turkey that is killed must be transported and shown whole, whether eviscerated or not, at a registration station.
A hunter who kills a black bear must at the time of registration show the animal's carcass or pelt.
Any moose killed must be transported and produced whole or in identifiable quarters at a registration station.

Haven't shot a lot of deer (got about a dozen so far), but on Remembrance Day, wife and I got a 6 point buck which has a very respectable body size for 6 points, but the does we got on Thursday is quite a bit heavier. I haven't weighed it, but I'm sure it's the biggest doe we ever got by quite a bit. Had a helluva time dragging her out.

We don't believe in that nonsense, or in registering non restricted firearms n western Canada.

Gees the heaviest I ever shot was 98 pounds gutted, skinned and head removed. It was a 10 pointer though didn't score well at only 134

Biggest I've weighed was one my brother shot at 265 lbs field dressed. One of our biggest ever. I did shoot a bigger one a few years later but did not weigh it. Wish I had taken the time to weigh him.

About 30 years ago, I went near Kenora with a couple of buddies. The size of the deer there was absolutely amazing. They had a buck in a garage, and I thought it was a calf moose.

I’ve actually never weighed my deer, aside from how much ground I get from the trim and rib meat etc. I do all my own butchering and don’t have a scale to weigh them while I have them hanging.

Weighing deer seems to be an Eastern thing. Kid out here was trying to convince me that he put 185 lbs of meat in the freezer off a whitetail. I just can't reconcile that math, unless he froze the deer whole and slabbed it up on a sawmill!
