Heavy .45 Colt Load

Properly sized and lubed you shouldn't have significant leading in your .45 loads out to 1,100 fps . Beyond that use a gas checks.

Most .45Colt barrels are now .451 in diameter so those jackets will want to be sized down to .451. Cast bullets to .452

What I have read here has made me reconsider my planned load with 15grs of HS6. I think I will go with a lighter load or switch to H110. Thanks for all the advice.
