I've got a Sauer 100 in 308 and the bolt can be very heavy to lift and recock. Its not related to over pressure because it's heavy to lift when dry firing/empty chamber. It's the first bolt gun I've owned with a 60 degree bolt lift. All of my other #### on open bolt guns are much easier to ####. Is it normal for a 60 degree bolt to be hard to #### or is something wrong with my rifle?

Thanks in advance!

A little harder, making up the same diff in 60 that is done in 90.

Take the bolt apart, not hard, clean all the heavy grease out and relube, don't find my 6.5PRC Fieldshoot stiff, but It does have an extended handle on it.

Probably nothing wrong. a short lift design will be stiffer. Take the bolt apart and clean all the grease and oil out of it. Some people will just work the action (aggressively) a few hundred times to break it in a bit (assuming yours in a new rifle). CZs are really bad for this too until they break in.
