Heavy Sand

I use 5160 powdered steel. cheap and easy to get online

Thanks for all the ideas, I went with Lizard Reptile Aquarium Sand. I had a few bags of #2 and #4 lead shot sitting around but thought it might be too heavy. I could get some steel shot from the shot blaster machines from my last employer, but that crap will turn to a lump of rust if it gets wet.

Bought two bags of Chromite from Brownells for 21.99USD per 15lb.
Dean at Plenty O Patches may be able to help too, last time I checked was 2.75 per lb, there are dealers in Ontario.
