Heavy Sand

I live in Barrie, Ontario. Anyone know where I can get heavy sand to fill my rear bag

I mixed mine with half silica sand and half #8 lead bird shot, worked out great.

I use playground sand. You can buy it in most lumber yards a 5lb bag will fill several rear bags.

I use the small coloured pebbles you put in the bottom of fish tanks. Cheap and works like a charm.

I personally use a product called Jet-Mag, which is a sand blasting grit. Readily available, and about $12 for 25 lbs.

Check out the stuff they sell at Pricess Auto for sandblasters, its quite heavy for the size of bag.

i use lane mountain 50 sandblasting sand, nice and fine, weighs up nice, lee
