I know this may fall under the "i like to waste money" category, but i was wondering if it's possible to have an m14 receiver heel stamped somehow. This would purely be for a look cool effect. One thing I feel is missing on the norcs as opposed to US manufactured rifles is the heal stamp. I've seen some older polytechs in the states that have it done, but i'm guessing it was done during production. So what I'm asking is if anyone has contemplated some kind of process to heal stamp without damaging the receiver. Or am i just out to lunch on this one...

You mean letter stamping? Buy a set of stamps. I wouldn't stamp 'M14' on a Norinco M305 though. You don't want any overzealous cop deciding you have a 12(3).

I'm thinkin that letter punching would require annealing the area to be stamped, stamping , then re hardening the annealed area.
Not something I would recommend doing to the receiver.
Laser engraving or CNC engraving would probably be the only viable options for a proffesional looking heel "stamp".

You'll note that the stamping on your 'Rinco is of 2 varieties. There is the relatively deep "made in China" stamping and there is the shallow stamping of the serial number.

I suspect that's because the "made in China" is stamped on the receivers before their final hardening. the serial number is done last.

Ron Smith use to stamp some of the Chinese rifles that he worked on at Smith Enterprise.
I am not sure if he still does this or not . I do not know how he applied the markings either.
