I believe this is my first post! :)

For the past year I've been wanting to do something like this!

Obviously no pistol unless you have your RPAL and its at a range. Same with the M&P 15-22.

I also think that the Swiss Arms 22 was blocked from importation by the RCMP. Correct?

The SU-22 and the 10/22 in Tapco furniture is fair game in canada.

My basic plan is to either get a Used 10/22 or a new basic sporter model 10/22 from Whole Sale sports. ($200 ish)

Then I want to shoot the 10/22 in stock configuration for a while with some 25rnd magazines until get used to shooting it.

Afterwards I want to put the 10/22 in either a TAPCO Intrafuse Tactical trainer stock or a Promag Marauder stock and start doing some tactical 22 shooting.

I was wondering if you could use a CO2 air pistol as a secondary?

Would that be an option?

Also whats your opinion on TAPCO Intrafuse Vs Promag Marauder?

That's what I do.. makes for a little more fun, extra fail points etc. to transition several times during a course.. however, can be aggravating as reloading a new .177 mag can be clumsy at best

Maybe try one of those Sig X-five CO2 BB guns? they have normal sized mag as opposed to the typical weird airgun mags.

Although it is a 4.5mm BB so accuracy might not be very good.

Man I really gotta get out with my 10/22 and try and set up a course, also it would give me an excuse to buy one of those X-five BB guns or the tanfoglio 1911 :D

Where do you usually go to set up a course Utah?

Well, when I'm around town, the closest place I go is up Sylvester Rd. in Mission, bit of a drive, but if we're going up and planning on spending the day, no biggie - Just bring a small BBQ and cooler up and your all set ;)

Recently, we went camping for a few days at Lundbom Lake near Merritt - that place kicked a$$! Rolling hills, backstops everywhere, and the ground isn't littered with broken glass and shotshells like at Sylvester.

Sounds like a great idea. I just wish that Nutnfancy would get some ego reduction surgery done. We don't need two and a half minutes of theme music over him prancing around in his tacticLOL Blackwater-d00d wannabee gear waving a .22 before getting to the actual content.

Heh, I see bigger egos on guys around these boards everyday, no doubt

I hear ya, but I dig that stuff, not just the review or what have you..
I like .22's too ;)

Right on, thanks for the info Utah, I'll have to try and get some friends together and go for the day. Although some of my shooting buddies are unfortunately reverting into fudd-syndrome lol. :HR:
