Hi my name is burky and I had a scare walking through my wood lot (just purchased) and came across a bear den , well foolish me I looked In side and saw a black bear staring back at me. I was lucky it mus5 have been half asleep and let me slowly walk away.
Now that I have a black bear den less than 350' away from my camp I think it s time to educate myself on black bears and purchase a gun for self defence ofcourse.I certainly don t want to shoot it but if it turns agressive hopefully I ll be ready.
