Hi everyone,
I just took the safety courses (and passed the exams) for non-restricted and restricted categories of firearms. Tomorrow I'll send out my application for (R)PAL. At that time the wait will begin.
I'm mostly interested in target shooting and maybe a little bit of collecting (and even hunting). Please observe a minute of silence for my wallet.
I thought I'd join this forum to learn much more about the fascinating world of firearms. When I get into a hobby I like to dive both feet in and try to learn as much as I can in a short amount of time. And I'm definitely hooked just from "fondling" the disabled weapons during the safety courses, despite not having fired an actual firearm yet.
The ok in my nickname is both an omen (I hope to become at least OK at shooting) and a reference to where I live, the beautiful Okanagan Valley in BC.
