I was just told about this site the other day from a friend!

I shoot primarily pistols.

I have been out of the shooting scene for awhile and am just getting back
into it. Looking forward to many a discussion.

Welcome to the forums Tim 2007. There are several ranges and clubs in the Calgary area. I belong to The Shooting Edge (look at the top of the page) and have benefitted from the service they have provided as a range and club. The staff are helpful and experienced. They are also a friendly bunch!

I'm not sure what club I will join at right now. I am looking for recomendations, if you have one. I am looking for a club that has a focus on IPSC or IDPA type of matches.

The Shooting Edge will be hosting the IPSC qualifiers this Sunday starting at 08:00.

They also do IDPA every Wednesday (I am joining when I have the rig and cash together) and IPSC on Mondays (I think).

IDPA is every Wednesday from 6pm - 9pm. IPSC usually runs on Monday's but is hit and miss if a lot of people actually come and this Sunday I do believe everyone is coming down at 7am and it should be started by 8.

Welcome to Calgary and if you want a convenient range that's warm all year round TSE is definately the club to join!

IPSC at TSE

I came down to TSE on Sunday and watched some of the shooting. I was impressed with the quality and stages and the number of people who were there. I was not expecting to see as many people as I did. I hope every shot well and that it was a successful event. I heard the nationals are in Lethbridge next year!

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get approved for the Equipment exchange. I have been waiting a few days now.

Hello from Leduc AB.
New to this forum but have appeared on others with the same Name. I shoot F class and am well aquainted with Kodiak from Sask and probably a few others, only I can't tell by the User Names.
