Just thought I'd start here...looks like a great site...originally from Prince George, BC and moving back there in a year...have a browning 30-06 xbolt, Marlin 45-70, Ruger 10/22, Mossberg shotgun, and 5 pellet guns...look forward to learning lots and chatting with everyone...cheers...

You certainly came to the right place, CGN is full of valuable info. Good to see you on board! I have a 10/22 myself; have you put any work into it, or is it mostly stock?

I just got a Ruger 10/22 and I love it. It handles nice and I like the many add ons I can incorporate into it if I so choose. I already have tried the 25 mag...It is awesome.

i have a 10/22 as well. stainless with the synthetic stock. i have three 25 round banana mags, scope, & red dot, and a 10/22 soft case from basspro for about $25. i also just ordered a butler creek folding stock from rimfiresports.com.

i just filed down my bolt release using the thread in 'rimfire' instead of buying an automatic one, saved me about $25. next im going to install new springs and polish some of the trigger components to smooth the action lighten the trigger pull.

do you guys go to the homestead range west of the city?
