Hi, I've been trying my hand at hunting for a few years, have a .22, 223 and a 12 ga and looking to increase my collection and keep practicing my aim!
 
What do you hunt in Ontario? I live in BC and have been hunting birds for the last two years. Didnt grow up hunting and have learned as Ive gone

Southern Onterrible has an absurd caliber restriction and limits deer hunting to shotgun only. 270 just ekes by (like that doesn't carry).

Congratulations in joining CGN and becoming a hunter.
To better your aim, make sure your dominate eye is fixed and focused on your front sight
and the other eye learns to focus on the target or object you are shooting.
Doing this practice many times as Dry Fire at home (not with the 22 you will damage the firing pin)
Practice at home will give results at the range and hunting, if you don't then all you are doing is wasting ammo!
