I've just moved to pembroke ontario,but still work in the patch in Alberta.
Anyone know anywhere good for shooting in Pembroke?

That's quite the change of address! I can't help but think the military is somehow involved.
Lots of good areas around.
Start by joining a club, and make your intentions known.
I was with the Beachburg club when I was there (Upper Ottawa Valley Sportsman's?). Great little club and (at least it was) very affordable.
