Tis time that a brief introduction was perhaps made. I have made a few posts already and been loitering around for about 4 months making the archives my friend.

I have been an owner since 1992 when I bought a Mauser HsC. I have added some more to that since.

I am not entirely certain I like David Miller, Allan Rock, Kim Campbell or this Wendy person so many people talk about.

I can assure you... you do not like any of those four, especially Windy, who is president of the Coalition for Gun Control, and also lobbies her lies to the UN as a founding member of the International Action Network on Small Arms.
There are other "sworn enemies" to our pastime, but you've certainly picked four of the better ones.
Recently, Miller's been a bigger pain than Windy, but he's gone so over the top most main stream media have started dismissing him... but that doesn't give us any reason to let up on him.
As I'm sure you've noted by now, letter writing is somewhat of a passion of ours. It's one of the better ways, when properly worded, to let the uneducated public know we are not a bunch or crazed red-necks... just a group of everyday folks who happen to own guns.
 
Hi Polearm, welcome! Stay in touch, quite a few forum members from around Eastern Ottawa, (and the Outaouais too like me :) ) and once in a while a few get together at a range for some shooting.
