Hello! Im new to CGN and new to shooting altogether.
I recently passed my rPAL and sent in the application. Been constantly window shopping online for all times of firearms but Im not sure what a beginner like me should get.

Ultimately, I would like to build a AR style rifle, but ive been looking into a cheap SKS just to get started.

Im looking to join Spruce Grove Gun Club once my application gets through.

Any tips for a beginner like me? What type of gear to get? Etiquette at the range?

Greetings from Oshawa! My first was an SKS and I love it!
Simple, cheap and fun! Lots of Youtube videos on them too.
Ammo is very cheap as well. I love the history behind the milsurps.

For the time being, I think I'm going to stick with long guns. Hand guns look really expensive compared to long guns; or am I looking in the wrong place? Haha
