Hello from Fort McMurray, Alberta

Hello All,

Just signed on today and am enjoying the reading so far.

I am a handgun shooter from way back, but have divirsified into rifles and shotguns recently. I have a family of 5 and we all enjoy getting out to the range and shooting up paper targets. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

If there are any Cowboy Action Shooters from Alberta out there, I would be interested in chatting. It looks like a lot of fun.

Welcome Dave. I spent 33 years of my life in the Fort. My condolences!! If you are new to the Fort, PM Catnthehat here. He can probably introduce you to the range there. Very nice set up!!

Good to be here thanks. I have a range membership up here already. Did not take me too long to get that set up

McMurray actually has a pretty great range. Now we just need to set up for Cowboy Action Shooting. Never tried it, but it looks like a lot of fun.

Howdy!
Normally I'm at the range most wekends, changing target frames, cutting th grqass, battling the eavil beavers, etc, and sometimes even getting in some triggger time!
This fall however, I'm knee deep in work - no time for nuthin'.....

I was out at the range the other day after work. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of shooting time before the sun drops this time of year... Maybe I will see you out there.
