Hi Everyone,
I've been hunting for three years now and all I have to say is, "Wow, do I ever have lots to learn!" The best part about this whole thing for me is that I've got about 3 solid buddies who I can hunt with on any given weekend - it's just great time spent together (and all our wives are friends now, so that's really going to help in the long run come the fall each year!).
Anyways, I've been shooting a Parker-Hale .270 and I've really liked that gun. But, I've had a few friends pick up some great guns from this site, so I'm here to read, learn, and perhaps look into getting another rifle.
On a final note, my Father just retired this weekend, so I'm really hoping we will be able to spend some quality time together this fall and each one to come.
Thanks in advance for all the wisdom, gentleman. Us young guys need it.
