Hello from Kootenays

Hi - I have little experience shooting, most was as a kid with a 22 (gophers in horse pasture) over 40 years ago. I'm now interested in hunting and have been trying out/learning about different rifles. This site was recommended to me by a member. I'm new to computers, let alone sites like this - WOW! - so much info. etc.. Thanks in advance for all I will be learning here.

Hello and welcome. Speaking as another person having trouble getting to understand what computers can do (and how to do it), I understand at least that part of your situation. This site has a lot in it. Take from it what you need. There's a lot of knowledge here. Ask questions and keep asking until you get answers that work for you.
