Hello from La Tuque, Qc.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Been interested in firearms most of my life. I'm a trapper and a hunter. I collect older 92 and 94 lever guns, I reload pistol shotgun and rifle, and enjoy shooting at the local range. My wife and kids also share these hobbies. I'm also learning the gunsmithing trade from a local smith as his apprentice. If things work out financially should be buying his shop when he retires. His shop does repairs and maintenance on hunting guns, our northern town being a haven for moose hunters, but most of the business comes from custom work on competition handguns, mostly S&W revolvers and Colt 1911 pistols.

Welcome to CGN and you most definitely live in a beautiful place. A hop and a skip in any direction from La Tuque, and you are in excellent hunting and fishing territories.

Have you ever been to "Pourvoirie Lareau"? It is a little over an hour north of La Tuque up along "forestière # 10 (C.I.P.)". Truely Gods country up there.
