Hi everyone! :)
I'm a newbie with guns. My husband (daedra83) introduced me into guns about one year ago. You know what? I loved it!!! :D I prefer the AR-15.

What else can I say about me...Well, I've just graduate from École Hôtellière de Laval (cook). :p Next September, I'll return to school for the Cook Market, which is to be a Chef.

In 2008, we want to move in Alberta (Edmonton). But, the thing is, we don't know pretty much about this city. :confused: So, if somebody here wants to help us with our first steps, it will be wonderful! :dancingbanana: We cannot stand one more year in Quebec (we really hate it!). :mad:
 
Welcome on!! Can,t help you with info on Alberta(I'm from Ontario.....which is sadly very liberal) but I hear Alberta is very nice......good luck with your career and your move!!

I've seen pictures of Edmonton, and I have family in the area, other than that... nothing.

gregisthegreatest : I don't own one but I use the AR-15 of my husband. :cool: It's not really the good time in Quebec actually to own a arm restricted (with the new dumbass law :mad: ). It really getting on my nervs !!! :bangHead:
I can cook you something but I don't think FedEx will appreciate that! :p

Welcome aboard. The Laval I recall has certainly changed. Had a friend living at 35 Pacific in 1947. We used to fire our .22 rifles in the back yard with no complaints - well except for the chickens- they never seemed to get used to the noise. Good luck with your plans

I left Montreal in 1982 and don't miss anything except for the smoked meat and the Jazz festival.

Edmonton real estate will be a shock to you guys. Vacancies for rentals are probably tight as well in comparison to Laval.

There are lots of jobs for people who want to work hard in the West. You will find it very refreshing. There is much less dependance on chomage out here.
 
Can we see some photos of you Melissa? Preferably holding your guns.... while wearing a bikini :D
 
Oldroscoe : I live near by the street Pacific. It really change, I can assure you! lol More street gangs (Crips) and less safety...The world is f**ked up more than ever!

geologist : It would be probably a big shock, but that does not frighten us . We will adapt ourselves to this new life,and hope that it would be good! ;)

I have the Mr.Clean eyes but in green lol, well, thats what my friends and people says to me often (picture lil dark so you don't see clearly).
