Hello from Nunavut

I am a registered nurse in Nunavut territory. The people here are no strangers to guns. there are more guns thaN PEOPLE. Mostly, guns are used for sustanance hunting. I enjoy hunting. I currently have a husquvarna 30-06, ruger 10/22 and a maveric defender slug gun. My primary gun use is hunting although target practice is a good way to blow off some steam. anyone who wants to see pics of the area or of the very nice bull caribou I shot last fall check out my and my wife's blog http://wenttokugluktuk.########.com.

I am looking very forward to being a member and sharing info, although atfirst I amy be receiving more than I offer, haha.
 
Well let me be the first to welcome you! Don't think you know me but you'd know my mom, Naomi the teacher at JHI elementary. Blowing off steam sounds like a pretty good idea right about now...
 
Welcome mwent ... also checked out your own page link there ... great pics and stories ... I haven't been to Kugluktuk since '94 but damn it was a beautiful place to visit ... you're gonna love this site ... good folks, great info, lots of guns ... ;) Cheers,

Welcome to CGN. I spent some time doing some work up in Kugaaruk this summer. I was actually pleasantly surprised by Nunavut and really enjoyed my time there. My fiancee is finnishing her RN degree next year and giving some serious thought to heading back up that way and hopefully she can find work as an RN. I hope I'm not out of place for asking this, but what are RN salaries like up there?
