CGN Regular
today marks six-days waiting for my PAL to arrive in the mail, since showing as approved on the CFC website :dancingbanana:

Thanks to all the great info posted here, I'm pretty sure I've decided on the Benelli Supernova as my first firearm, since I'm pretty much only interested in trap/clays and hunting.

Here's looking forward to many safe years in a great sport!

:welcome:

It took me nearly 3 months to get my license, but since I've gotten it, my wallet has gotten a lot lighter :D. 2 Rifles, 1 shotgun and 1 handgun.

Today, I got the email for Bass Pro and they're new flier with lots of deals on rifles and shotguns, so I might just be making another purchase this weekend :D.

Its a dangerous hobby, not because you're shooting guns, but because it'll cost you a small fortune

Generally 45 days from them recieving your application, at least 28 after approved(standard "cool out" time). As I mentioned, use the time to save for ammo, or searching for what you want. When mine was approved, it was placed in the "don't mail until this date box".
