I've thought about it but I find there are so many rules it takes the fun out of it. For me anyway, I speak for my self only.

I felt the same way years ago, when I had the opportunity to be grandfathered for the 12.6 - now I'm on the outside looking in.
The first time a Lieberal mentioned the idea of banning handguns altogether, my wife and I both went out and got our RPALs.
It's a load of fun, not that hard to "stick to the rules", and every RPAL license is a vote against the Lieberals, Greenies and anyone else who thinks we can be beaten into submission.

Actually I'm 46 years old. Never had a pal just poL decided I wanted to be able to purchase other guns, own 5 guns up til now, bought 5 more sold 2 out of the 5 I bought recently.

You might enjoy Cowboy Action Shooting if you decide to get your RPAL. I did and enjoy it very much since i'm partly disabled and cannot enjoy hunting in the woods as much as i used too. http://www.ovmcowboys.ca/

Hey, welcome.. ya im new too and I have the same opinion of the restricted. It seems like alot of work, and the rules seem to make it almost not worth it. But I would be interested in getting it just so that I could say I have it, and maybe buy an AR-15 and never take it to a range.
