Hello everyone,

Figured I should introduce myself!

My name is Gab, and I live part time in Ottawa. I spend the rest of the year flying bushplanes around Canada usually ferrying fishermen and hunters. I've been hunting for a few years now but rarely get the chance to go since I'm always flying moose hunters during open season!

Looking forward to getting to know some of the community here at CGN and perhaps meeting some of you at the range or in the field.

I just noticed your sig for NCRRA... I've heard about the Connaught range and have always wondered how that perticular range worked... Do you have to be recomened by a member or is it open to the public? I've sighted in my Weatherby 300 WM for 200 yards but have always wanted to try long distance shoots... Any info on the Connaught range would be very appreciated!

As basically a military base, Connaught isn't open to the public. Non-military folks belonging to associations like the NCRRA and DCRA do have some access to the ranges though. Give the web-site a look and send off a couple questions. They're a good bunch at NCRRA and are very welcoming of new folks. :welcome:
