too close to Calgary
Since it's my first post on this site I would like to introduce myself.
I'm 32, the former Polish Army officer living in Warsaw, Poland with my wife and daughter.
In January we were granted the Canadian immigration visas thanks to the "skilled worker" program.
In May I'm going to land in Edmonton and start trying to build our life from the beginning.
The ladies will join me in September.
I'm very happy and can't wait to see our new homeland.
I love the nature and guns, however the Polish gun laws kept me away from shooting for many years.
I heard about your site from Targettarget who joined the Glock Talk forum a few days ago.
I'm a member of the GT since 2003.

I'm sorry to hear about the fact you'll be living in the Alberta's inferior city of Edmonton though. If there's still a chance to reconsider come to Calgary instead and you'll see a real hockey team play there, and of course all the people south of Edmonton can actually shoot straight too as we aren't inbred.

I'm only kidding of course! You'll learn all about the Calgary-Edmonton rivalry when you get here.

Hard to believe you will be in Canada shortly, seems like a long time ago this was only a dream of yours. I recall your posts in the OAF and hoped you would make the dream come true.

I am sure this site will help you out in meeting great people, and getting settled into life in Canada. Best of luck to you and your family, and look forward to your posts. Hopefully we can see some of those wonderful pictures you take shortly of your new city.

I'm not surprised to see you here.
What a nice feeling.
Long time...you're right.
In fact I started to thinking about the move nearly 5 years ago.
Today it's reality that awaits for me just across the corner.
Also thanks to you.
BTW I'm going to take with me the old Panasonic digital camera (however I have to change the battery loader somehow :D).
