Both! I want to start out target shooting.When I practiced with my guns then go hunting.I would like to get a rifle,shotgun and handgun...

google on line CANADIAN FIREARMS CENTER and you will find all the necessary informations.
In Quebec you need to attend and pass a safety course, in order to get your hunter card, then you must apply for acquisition/possesion permit, then you could purchase a non restricted fire arm ( hunting rifle or shotgun ) to buy
a restricted weapon (pistol or revolver or restricted semi auto rifle) you need to attend one more course and become a member of a gun club before you could purchase a handgun.
