Hello from Red Deer Alberta

I am a new member to CGN, and just wanted to drop a line to say hello. I am currently living in Red Deer Alberta, which is where I started to get interested in guns and shooting as a hobby. I currently own 4 rifles, 2 shot guns and 1 pistol. I have been into skeet shooting, bench rest rifle shooting and now am mostly into pistol shooting. Last year I started to reload ammo for my 9mm Smith and Wesson M&P, my wife supports my shooting hobby and contributed with a Dillon reloading press for Christmas last Dec. I am swaying more towards handguns and for those of you interested I have my .223 ruger target rifle for sale under precision rifles. Most of the knowledge that goes with shooting I have learned from a lot of researching the net and asking many questions, I know how frustrating is is to start a new hobby with little knowledge about it. If you are new to shooting and have any questions please drop me a line and I will help answer your question the best I can. Well with all that being said I must run and I hope to meet some new friends on here that enjoy guns and shooting as much as I do.

I joined this site a short while ago myself and have been absolutely impressed with the knowledge level of the membership. This group is top drawer, and totally Canadian!

If you have a question, somebody on here will have an answer, an opinion... or at least something witty to contribute. I especially like some of the signatures; with some I laughed so hard the tears streamed down my leg.
 
Howdy! Hey if you really want to have some fun, check out the IPSC Alberta Website and get in touch with them. Those guys will not only introduce you to the best fun with a handgun but might even teach you a couple of things'!:)
 
Welcome......I was in the 'sportsman den' (north hill) the other week and they have a few boxes of 223 rem/umc for 10.00 a box....I was gonna clean em out but never got back there:(
