Hi, I am fairly new to forums in general so please excuse me if I commit some trangression, it will not be intentional.
I am 48 years old and have been a lifelong hunter. I own a few handguns also and shoot them a little. I enjoy informal target shooting at the range, mostly just practice actually but my main activity is hunting, deer and upland game mostly.
Thats me in a nutshell, just a family guy surrounded by women and girls in my home who needs a masculine outlet every once and awhile. I really am not much for connecting with my feminine side, just ask my wife.

A house full of girls! yes, you need guns to stay with your masculine side. I've been there, I feel for you. Welcome to the board.

welcome!!

hi there 444

Had to laugh at your feminie side joke. I am an lpn in a facility with 1 guy on maintenance (non hunter :( ..lol ) and only me on care staff !!
boy do i hear that get outta dodge!!

happy hunting

J

Welcome aboard - I grew up in SJ, moved to Ottawa in 1999. I still go back a couple times a year, and it's a good thing I now have Ontario plates on my car, because I'm forever trying to figure out the changes to Westmorland, McAllister and Loch Lomond :)

welcome! I know some shooters from your area that belong to Hampton Rifle and Pistol club.

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to check out the new podcast, "Canadian Reload Radio" some of us members are getting off the ground as well! Click on the link in my sig, or look for it in "General Firearms Discussion"

To follow-up some the posts I belong to the IPP club down here, I have handguns but just shoot for fun not competetively. The only thing in danger when I shoot is the back stops not the targets.
Saint John is changing that's for sure, I am a transplant down here in the last few years and it sure has grown alot of traffic lights on Westmoreland lately.

I hear ya about Westmorland Road. Gotta wonder what genius came up with that idea?

And don't even get me started about the harbour bridge.....;)

Aaahhh, another eastcoaster to keep us all company, welcome to the forum from a cold and foggy NFLD, you do know what NFLD stands for? Cheers.
