Hey all,

Just thought that I would finally introduce myself after many weeks of lurking.

I am new to hand guns and I figure what better place to start then here.

I just got my first of many hand guns five in total.

:welcome: This site a great wealth of information and lot of knowledgeable people. I would suggest using the search function to find a lot of your info as most of the question you have answer for have already been asked. That will save you from some of the hazing that you'll receive by ask questions that have already been answered. Enjoy and Happy shooting.
 
Welcome to the site- from an Ex-Thousand Islander. Used to live in Brockville. You will find a great deal of useful info here on this site that will help you out. Good luck.

Got a club? If not, you night want one. I'm probaly joining the Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club shortly (http://www.frpc.ca/) It's a nice range in Kingston.

Don't live there? There is another called Cast and Blast out near Landsdowne. Never been there though..
 
I have joined the Brockville club already and been out a couple of times. Cast and Blast is a waterfowl store that has some pretty good prices on stuff too.

I think in the near future me and my buddy might try and take a bit of an active role in the club to try and help out some of the vets and getting the younger crowd interested.
