I thought I'd chime in and say "hi".

I'm not really new to the world of guns. I spent time in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves (late 80s, early 90s) --> Royal Canadian Artillery... the "big" 105mm Howie guns. I also have some small firearms experience while in the reserves (FN's, C7's, Sterlings, etc.) I particularly loved my old FNC1A1... and if I could find one, I would buy it in a heartbeat!

I recently got my PAL, even though I had an FAC, but I unfortunately let it expire!

I'm looking to get "restarted" in the world of firearms, and I'm working with a smallish budget of $1200 to get things going. I think I want a 7mm centrefire, a .22 rimmie tack driver, and perhaps a decent 12 guage. I'll see what I can find!

"...would buy it in a heartbeat..." Sadly, C1A1's are evil prohibited things now. So even if they hadn't been destroyed, you can't buy one. Kind of partial to 'em myself.
