Hi guys!

Let's i introduce myself first.

Became a member of this forum few weeks ago, looks like this is the right place!

Formely from Russia, formerly special forces officer for over 15 years, former competition shooter, etc. Last 12 years live here and working as IT consultant.
Love fishing, boating and just recently my friends pushed me back to rifles, shooting and hunting.

OK, passed my PAL and hunting cources this sping and now on the market for my rifles and shotguns.

My hobby - knives. I love them, studied a lot about steel, wood, history of cold weapons, have very good connections with bladesmiths an knifemakers.
Sometimes in my spare time I make knives for my collection, for friends, and even for sale and custom orders, if in some situations I need some extra money, like now, for my new toys...;)

Hope to meet here good people and always open for advises and ready to share all my knowledge with you!

Thanks!

Welcome. May I suggest getting your r/pal, if you haven't already? People in Toronto need all the support for firearms they can get, especially with restricteds.

Welcome DMSTER. I worked at Toronto Airport for 32 years and met many fine Russian gents. Glad you returned to gunsports there is some fine hunting in northern Ontario for you to enjoy. I would love to see pics of some of your handmade knives. PM me if you post some pics in the knife forum. Enjoy the gunnutz.

Beautiful, beautiful work Dimitri. I can see you making a lot of money in the knife forum.
Probably some from myself when I can afford them. These are some of the nicest knives I have ever seen.

You are kidding, right?...
I would like to, but it is not profitable business, I can tell you,
it is a hobby, like an art, like hunitng or fishing - no economics, no profit behind, just a pleasure to do this, you understand it.
For living I can make few times more in the same time sitting and coding, believe me, but my soul is not there anymore...;)
Selling part of them is like every collector's doing - buy or make something, sell a few to buy or make another one,
may be better, may be just different - because you start thinking differently...
