G'day all!

New member from the Trenton area and just wanted to say hi. I originally grew up in the states, joined the military and was shipped oversea to an exotic post (Ottawa) where I met my wife. That was 18 years ago. I have to admit that your women are beautiful, but some of the gun laws suck! Anyhow....

Hello and welcome. I was born in Canada, but grew up and lived in the US until 2006. Yes, some Canadian gun laws... However, if you ever try to move firearms across the US
border, you'll find US laws can be pretty spectacular, too. They're all sent to try us. Enjoy this site. It's hard to imagine a more exotic posting than Ottawa, but I'll work on it.
 
Thank you for the welcome. I think the gun law that I have found the most amusing is any pellet rifle over 500 fps needs a pal for purchase. I still don't really understand that one or some of the gray areas concerning black rifles. Pistols I can understand, not that I am fond of such tight controls in this area, but it does make some sense. Thanks again for the welcome and I wish everyone here happy and safe shooting.
