Hi and thank you for letting me into your house!

Hopefully I can gather info and advice from the members here and also contribute some info I can offer.
As for firearms experience, I kinda grew up around family and famliy friends that had various firearms. Everything ranging from rifles to handguns.

As a shooter? Its a never ending battle. The guns shoot great, however sometimes(most of the time) the operator, not so much. Haha.

I enjoy getting advice(as well as giving) from others to hopefully make me a better shooter.
I'd like to indulge one day in IPSC, however it seems like my Sigs might slow me down...I guess I should start to look into A Glock or CZ. :p

In any case I am super glad to join a community of people that share the addiction for firearms in which depletes my poor wallet!

Why would your Sigs slow ya down?
What part of Van do you hail from? I am glad to see so many pro-gun people coming from Van lately. :dancingbanana:

I feel that people that think that guns are bad are just misguided. It's funny because people are more likely to be killed or injured by a knife found in your everyday kitchen drawer than a firearm. And to think that there are no locks or safety devices on those drawers!

As where I am from, I hail from the Kits area. So just imagine how my neighbours look like when I am carrying a case of 9mm or .45's into my home. Haha!(Seriously, I try to keep it on the low anyhow. I don't like advertising that I am a firearm owner to most people.)

I only say Sigs would slow me down for the fact that everything on the market that may give slight advantages in matches, are specifically made for the "more competitive," handguns. (ie; speed/comp holsters, recoil management systems, etc)
I love my Sigs and will be using them for IPSC when I do get around to it. However, it does give me a reason to get another to get another pistol, ;)
