Hey everyone, been hearing great things about this site on another forum. Thought I'd drop by and see what its all about. Also was into being part of a site that had a Canadian swapmeet.
Just starting out collecting Lee Enfield rifles, I currently have 3, a 1916 LSA No1 MkIII that my Grandmother bought my Grandfather as a wedding gift in 1956 (was a sporter already when she bought it), a 1944 Maltby No4 Mk1 that was converted to a Parker-Hale No4 Standard sporting rifle post war (my Dad bought it new in 1974), and my fiancee bought me a 1942 Longbranch No4 Mk1* for Christmas. It is all #'s matching (even magazine), very nice walnut stock, has a very nice 1942 C^ marked sling and No4 MkII bayonet and is also my first military configuration rifle.
I target shoot with my Dad at his farm a lot, and I plan on collecting Enfields and other Great War and WWII era rifles and gear.
Cant wait to check out this sight!
